Misfile - Ash

Imagine for a minute that there is a massive celestial filing system run by heaven, and the files in this system determine every physical aspect of every person on the planet.  Age, gender, race, species, everything.  Now imagine if you will what would happen if there was a misfile in a system that controls everything.  Yeah, putting the one unmotivated, pot smoking angel to look after one of the filing branches probably wasn't the best idea.

The result of this celestial misfile has drastic consequences for two individuals: Ash Upton, avid street racer and car enthusiast who has gone from being a "he" to a "she," and Emily McArthur, who has now lost two years of her life and has gone right back to high school starting in her junior year.  Everyone else is oblivious to these changes and only Ash and Emily are aware of what's happened to them.  Their only hope of things going back to the way they were is to get the angel who caused the misfile back into heaven so he can restore the files to the way they were.  If not, Ash and Emily's files will be locked and the two of them will be stuck the way they are for the rest of their lives. (first comic)

A quick note: this one's going to be a rather massive post, for in terms of foot scenes Misfile outstrips any other webcomic I have ever read.  If memory serves the last count was around a hundred and ten pages with bare feet, most of them in prominent focus.  Thus I've decided to divide Misfile across the next four updates.

Ash Upton

Ash is the main character of Misfile and the local street racing champion.  For as long as s/he could drive, Ash as has racing as a way to clear his/her mind and forget the unpleasant things in life for a time.  Ash's main car is a modified Merkur XR4Ti.
